Friday Favorites

Hello there and happy Friday! I hope you all had a nice week. This week I got to substitute in one of the other pre-k's at Lily Grace's school, which meant I got to see her in the hallway and see her at recess. It was a fun mini "break" in the day to get to see one of my favorite faces. It's safe to say that was one of my favorites for the week! Now, onto the rest...

Last weekend we had our last round of ski lessons for the season and they were a big success!

I am so proud of this girl for the effort she put into learning something new and challenging. I am already looking forward to next ski season and seeing how much further she comes.

The Tory Burch Miller sandals have been on my wish list for what feels like forever, but at a whopping $228, I couldn't seem to justify buying them. A couple weeks ago I pulled out my knock off Jack Rogers sandals I bought on Amazon and thought "I wonder if this same company makes knock off Tory Burch sandals too". I opened my Amazon app, and look what I found:

Not exactly the same, but pretty darn close! And for under $30, I'll take 'em. I don't have the real Tory Burch sandals to compare comfort, but these have been great!

In other news, we've been living our best lives playing outside as much as possible.
We hiked one of our favorite trails and then splashed in the creek.
We've been taking afternoon bike rides and scooter rides.
And taking our "inside" toys outside. I much prefer play-doh outside because I don't have to worry about little crumbs of play-doh getting smashed into our carpet. 😅Anyone else?
Then, on the occasional rainy day, we do some Cosmic Kids Yoga. I will be forever grateful to those of you who told me about Cosmic Kids Yoga!! It has been such a life saver on rainy days!

Speaking of yoga...

We've been playing Yogarrr after dinner and it has been a big hit. There are little cards you flip over that tell you which yoga pose to do, then you have to balance as many parrots as you can while keeping the pose still. We have been cracking up while playing-- I highly recommend this game!

Today I am linking up with Andrea and Erika for Friday Favorites. I hope you have a fun-filled weekend!

They are all from IKEA and are 10+ years old, so the newer models look a little bit different. Hopefully you find something that will work!

  2. Ooh.. I like the look of the Tory Burch sandals too but just can not justify the price but I will definitely be checking out those amazon dupes. I loved taking any of that messy stuff like Play dough or kinetic sand outside for play. I mean I let them use it in the house too since winter is much too long not to but I much preferred keeping messy play outside. Even with homeschooling we did most of our art and messy science projects outside.
