Fall Family Pictures 2021

 Good morning friends and happy Friday! Earlier this week I shared that we had our fall family pictures taken and received our proofs back. We were finally able to narrow down the pictures we wanted and I am happy to share them with you! 

Fall Harvest Salad

 Hello friends! Today I wanted to share the recipe I was telling you about last week. I have been making this salad for lunch on repeat the past few weeks and I just cannot seem to get enough of it. This recipe makes enough for two people, or if you're like me, enough for a salad at lunch today and a salad at lunch again tomorrow 😊. 

What's Up Wednesday

Hello hello and happy What's Up Wednesday! I am happy to see the end of this month because we know what a fun weekend we all have in store. Weekend Highlights

 Good morning and happy Monday! Today I am recapping our busy but fun-filled weekend as I link up with Heather for Hello Monday. I hope you all have a great Monday and get your week off to a strong start!

On Friday I subbed for a 4th grade class at my old school while Devin worked from home and watched the kids. When I came home from work they were playing with their construction worker dress up clothes. Both of these kids love to play dress up, and the construction outfits are a big hit these days! 

Friday Favorites

Good morning and happy Friday! I don't know about you guys, but this week flew by for us! The kids had a teacher work day on Monday so we really only had 3 days of school this week. I am not complaining! I love it when a week flies by! Here's a look at some of our favorites from the week:

 Favorite Activities:

Earlier this week I stumbled across this online and immediately said "we have to make those!!" The kids would love them, and lets be honest.. I loved them too. 

Since I went a little crazy in the baking aisle at Walmart a few weeks ago, we still have plenty of candy eyeballs to go around. These were super simple to whip up, and the kids enjoyed them! 

They may not look exactly like the example but considering the ages of my helpers, I thought we did pretty well!

 

Please note Liam's full cheeks. Every time he put a spider leg on he kept trying to eat the spider, so we kept giving him leftover pretzels. He took that to mean "how many of these things can I fit in my mouth at once??"

Favorite Things We Ate:

I made this Fall Harvest Salad almost every day for lunch and it was delicious! I'll share the full recipe next week but it has kale, apples, pears, pumpkin seeds and more. It's a perfect crispy, crunchy, healthy fall salad.

Skeleton Adventures:

I keep forgetting to post the skeleton adventures on my Instagram but don't worry, we are still doing them! Here are a few from the last week:

These have turned out to be a big hit not only in our neighborhood, but for the FedEx drivers, Amazon. drivers, mail carrier, construction workers, etc. People keep stopping at our house every day and taking pictures, which makes me so happy!! This definitely takes a little time and effort, so it is wonderful to know it is appreciated!

Life Lately

 Good grief! Does anyone else feel like just when you get established in your routine, something throws it off again? We have had a tricky last few weeks and things are already popping up to make this week a little loopy too. When will it all calm down? Luckily nothing has been serious, just crazy busy. September Books

 Good morning! Happy Monday! Today I am sharing the books I read in the month of September. I had all these plans to knock out a bunch of books once the kids went back to school, but then everybody got sick and I took a week off of reading. Oh well, there's always next month!
