Good morning friends! Tonight we are hosting another party in our backyard and it dawned on me that we host parties a LOT and I have never written a post about my hosting tips. I'm sure none of these are anything too new, but sometimes it helps to see everything all written down in one place. (Just a heads up, all of these pictures are taken from Pinterest. I obviously don't have pictures of a party we have yet to throw 😉).

Tonight's party is a going away party for our friend who is moving. We will be spending our time outside in the backyard, and it is a more laid back/casual party. Here are my tips for prepping for a party:

Good Morning! A couple weeks ago on our flight to Amsterdam I read The Little Book of Hygge and it got me SO ready for fall! For those of you that aren't familiar hygge (pronounced hoo-ga) is a word used by the Danish to describe all things cozy and what causes the cozy feeling. It has me so excited for the weather to cool down (which it finally is thank God!). I can't wait to cuddle up with a blanket, a fire, and a mug of hot chocolate.  Hi there! It is hard to imagine fall when the temperatures around here are still in the upper 80's and 90's, but we are all trying hard aren't we?? Since it still feels like summer, I have not decorated the house yet for fall, but I will tell you some of what I WILL be doing over the next few weeks and then I'll post some actual pics once it is all done. Grab yourself a cup of pumpkin spiced coffee and a cozy blanket and settle in to daydream about fall!

Good Morning! For the past few weeks I have been promising that Devin would do a blog post about how we travel the world for (almost) free using our credit card points. We did this when we went to Italy and Turks and Caicos. Whenever people hear this they immediately get uncomfortable and assume we spend beyond our means or have terrible credit, I can assure you that is not the case!! Devin loves a challenge and one day decided he wanted to find a way to figure out how to "beat the system" and find a way for us to be able to travel for free. It goes without saying that I am SO HAPPY he's figured it out.
