Good morning friends and happy What's Up Wednesday! Last month I did not get around to doing a WUW because we had just had our sweet baby boy. I am happy to be back linking up today and can't wait to read all of your monthly updates!

Fall Prime Fashion Finds Part 2
Good morning and Happy Friday! Earlier this week I posted part 1 of the clothes I've bought on Amazon lately. If you missed it, click here! Today I will be sharing the rest, and most of these outfits were the super casual/comfy/"throw it on in 2 seconds yet still look somewhat pulled together" look. In case you're new around here, we have a 5 week old baby and a 2.5 year old. So most of my outfits these days need to be quick and easy-- not to mention hide a postpartum belly!
Green Twist Knot Sweater/Leggings/Boots (I have had these same Frye boots for years, and while they were definitely an investment up front, they have lasted a really long time and have held up a lot better than some of my cheaper boots. They are definitely worth the price in my opinion!)

Fall Prime Fashion Finds Part 1
Good morning! Today I am doing part 1 of a lengthy post about all the cute clothes I have found on Amazon lately. Just a few months ago I had never thought to buy clothes on Amazon, but now it is one of the main places I shop! You really can't beat it for convenience, and with a 5 week old baby in the house convenience is a priority right now!
Oversized Cowl Neck Sweater/Leggings/Boots
This oversize sweater feels like wearing a blanket! I'm pretty sure you could pull the cowlneck down and do an off-the-shoulder look, but I preferred the cowl neck this morning 😀

White T/Striped Long Sleeve Sweater/Jeans/Toms Wedges
I was unsure about the v neck tees when I was looking online, but am so happy I ordered them. They are super soft and the fit is perfect. I grabbed them in a medium.

Then I tried the same outfit but with two different scarves:

Leopard Scarf (old-- from Loft)
Yellow Infinity Scarf
Oversized Cowl Neck Sweater/Jeans (not Amazon)/Toms Wedges
Same cowl neck sweater as above, but a different color. Super cozy and comfortable!

White T/Rust Sweater/Jeans (not Amazon)/Toms Wedges
This is the same as that brown sweater but in a rust color. I love the length of this sweater because it covers the booty/hip area, which is always my biggest problem area.

Those are just a few of the options I've found lately.. come back Friday for the rest! Have a great rest of the week!

Meal Planning Monday-- 21 Day Fix Recipes
Good morning friends and happy Monday! This week Devin and I are trying to get back on track to eating healthy. We have not been very good about eating a healthy, well balanced diet the past month as we've been in New-Baby-Survival- Mode and it is starting to show 😬. I know that the sweet treats of Halloween are around the corner, then Thanksgiving, and then all the delicious food Christmas brings. We are trying to get back into the healthy mindset so we can indulge in the sweet treats here and there without totally blowing a healthy diet. We are going to start doing the 21 Day Fix **eating** program starting Wednesday and I wanted to share some of my favorite 21DF approved recipes (We are only doing the nutrition portion of 21DF since I haven't been cleared to exercise yet by my doctor. Devin is planning to work out, but just do his own thing at the gym).

Coordinating Family Outfits for Pictures
It is amazing to think that it's already that time of year where we start thinking about annual family pictures. This year has flown by! I love having our pictures taken as a family every year so that we can see how much Lily Grace (and now Liam!) has grown each year. Growing up we took family pictures around Christmas every year and I know they are some of my parents most cherished pictures. They don't have to be formal, there is no need to stress... the important thing is the PEOPLE in the picture.
That being said, we want the PEOPLE in these pictures to look nice, right?? I love it when our family coordinates with each other without being overly matchy/matchy. I have been searching all over the internet for some good coordinating family outfits and figured I'd share what I have found so far.
I only have outfits planned for our little family of four, but a lot of these outfits have different sizes available for older/younger kiddos. I haven't figured out which color scheme we are going to go with, and I have several outfit choices for each color scheme. Here is our burgundy/navy theme:

Pinterest for the Win-- Halloween Crafts for Kids
Good morning and happy Friday!! Earlier this week I posted my monthly goals for October and one of my goals was to have my kiddos homemade Halloween cards made and in the mail no later than the 24th of October. Seeing as today is the 11th, that means it's time to nail down an idea and get to work! Usually we make the cards over the course of a few days so it doesn't get overwhelming to Lily Grace and lose the "fun" part of making them.
Initially I had some trouble finding any inspiration that looked both cute AND easily doable for a 2.5 year old and a 3 week old (and by 3 week old I really mean mom, because he clearly isn't doing any crafting!). After changing up the words I was typing into the search bar I was able to find a lot more! Here are some of the cute ideas I found:

October Goals
Good morning friends! I'm a little behind on posting monthly goals for this month, but better late than never, right? Let's take a look at how September went:

Book Club-- September
Good morning and happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend. It is finally starting to feel like fall around here and we were SO excited to get outside this weekend without melting into a puddle of sweat 😃 I've been regularly checking our 10 day forecast and it looks like the fall weather we love is here to stay! Well.. for the next 10 days at least...
Last month I had set a goal to read 1 book. I had no idea when our sweet baby boy would be coming and didn't know what life was going to look like with 2 kiddos instead of 1. It turns out life is definitely busier with 2, but in the best way possible. I am loving the dynamic of a family of 4 and seeing our "big girl" be such a great big sister to our little man!
That being said, I was able to squeeze in 2 books last month instead of just 1 and I LOVED them both!
