What's Up Wednesday
Good morning and happy What's Up Wednesday! Today I am linking up with Sheaffer and Shay. I didn't have good enough answers to all of the questions, so I skipped over a few and answered the ones that really fit for this month. Let's get started:
What' We're Eating This Week: We have been making this Watermelon and Arugula Salad on repeat around here and cannot get enough!

Monthly Goals-- September
I cannot believe it is already almost September. This year has flown by! Anyone else here excited for the (hopefully) cooler temperatures September will bring? We had the sweetest little taste of fall weather here this weekend. Sunday was in the mid 70's with no humidity. It was BEAUTIFUL! Now if only would stay that way for awhile, right??
Before we move on to September, let's take a look at August's goals:

Watermelon and Arugula Salad
Good morning friends! Last week my mother-in-law was here to help watch Lily Grace during the day while I went back to work. We always love when she comes to visit because not only does Lily Grace have a blast spending time with her, but this woman knows how to cook! Not only that, but her recipes tend to be very healthy so you don't feel guilty filling up on them. One of the recipes she made was the most delicious watermelon and arugula salad. She made it for dinner Tuesday night and then I remade it for myself for lunch every day after that, it's that good! The best part about it? Once you have the watermelon cut up, you can make it in 2-3 minutes. I promise you'll love it as much as I did!

Good morning and happy Monday! I hope you all had a nice weekend spent with family and friends. This past weekend Devin was out of town so Lily Grace and I drove up to Blowing Rock, NC to spend the weekend with my parents. We loved having the opportunity to spend time with family. Here are a few pictures from our trip:

Bumpdate-- Week 35
Good morning! Tomorrow I will be 35 weeks into this pregnancy... the end is in sight! I figured it was time for another bumpdate because there's no guarantee that I will get another one in between now and when this baby comes! Maybe I'll be able to squeeze one in-- and maybe not.

Pinterest for the Win... Recipes Edition
Good morning friends and happy Friday! Today I am linking up with Erika and Andrea for Friday Favorites. Let's get to it!
Last week when I was prepping my post about how we prepare for Back to School, I was perusing my Pinterest recipes board and stumbled across some really good recipes that I haven't made in forever. I know I love a good recipe and honestly find Pinterest to be a hard place to find good recipes. Anyone else feel like you find more recipes on Pinterest that look/sound good but actually turn out to be awful? It can't just be me, right?
Anyway, here are some recipes I have actually made and can attest to their delicious-ness! These are all side items, and we usually serve them with salmon/chicken/whatever. I also decided to make all of these again this week to make sure my memory wasn't foggy and they actually were delicious 😉. Several of these were not just delicious to Devin and I, but toddler approved too!

What I've Been Priming
It is a brand new month, which means it is time for the monthly look into my Amazon shopping addiction 😉. Truly, what did moms do before Amazon Prime?
Here is a look at my purchases for the month of July:
Okay I feel good about starting off with this one because it wasn't technically for me.. it was for one of my sisters. #imnottheonlyshoppingaddict

Friday Favorites-- Back to School Prep
Good morning friends and happy Friday!! It's hard to believe August is already here, and with August comes all the Back to School craziness and fun. This year will be a little different for us as we prep for Back to School because it is the first year where our family not only has a teacher going back to school, but our very first student. Lily Grace will be attending 2's preschool on Mondays and Wednesdays this school year and we know she will just LOVE it.
Today I am linking up with Erika and Andrea for Friday Favorites to share the things we have been doing to prep for the coming school year.
