What I'm Priming April

Hello hello! I had originally planned to wrap up the rest of our trip to Ireland today, but somehow the time completely got away from me. I missed the What's Up Wednesday link up last week and didn't want to miss Prime Purchases with Tanya on Tuesday. April came and went in the blink of an eye over here! Here's a look at our Amazon purchases for the month of April:

Dryer Vent Cleaner: I was laying in bed one night procrastinating all the things I should have been doing while browsing TikTok (anyone else procrastinate with social media?) when I stumbled across a man using this to clean his dryer vent (yes, my algorithm leads me to cleaning videos 😂). I immediately thought "Shoot!! We haven't had ours cleaned out in awhile, I should look into that." I figured I would buy this and give it a shot. If it worked, great! I wouldn't have to hire someone to come out and do it for us. If it didn't work, I'd return it. I am happy to report this thing worked like a charm and now we have it to use again in the future without having to pay someone to do it for us.

You put all the pieces together, attach it to your drill, and let it push all the lint out. Pretty easy and it worked well for us!

I wanted a simple tunic and an extra pair of leggings for Ireland and went with these, as seen below:

I am normally super loyal to my favorite legging brand, but at $110 per pair, they're on the pricey side. These leggings were a fraction of that cost, VERY comfortable, high waisted, and the pockets were VERY helpful when traveling. I do feel like the more expensive brand does a better job of keeping the lower tummy flat, but these are still pretty good. I highly recommend!

Gray Tunic: This tunic was probably my most-worn shirt on our Ireland trip just because it was comfy, easy, and simple. I won't be wearing it in NC again for several months now that it's roughly 80 degrees every day, but I know I'll bring it back out regularly in the fall.

Hunter Boot Insoles: Thank you so much to those of you who recommended the insoles! These helped to make my boots more comfortable while wearing them for 8+ hours each day, biking and hiking around in them. I am very grateful for the recommendation and would recommend them to anyone else who wants to make their boots comfier.

Salt Scrub: Sunless tanner season is here. I've had enough moles removed in my life to know that getting some real sun on my skin is not in my best interest, so I love a good sunless tanner. Before I put sunless tanner on, I use this scrub in the shower to exfoliate my skin. It smells great, does a good job of exfoliating, and I like that it's made in the Florida Keys! It reminds me of my trips there in the past. 😊

Croquet Set: When I was younger (roughly my kids age) my parents had a croquet set for us to play with in the backyard. I have some of the best memories of us eating dinner out on our patio and then playing croquet together after we ate. Now, let me clear, we were little and did not really play by the rules. We just had fun hitting our ball and trying to get it through the little wicket. We didn't keep score, it was in no way competitive, just a fun way to spend some time together outside as a family. Well, the nostalgia apparently got the better of me and I bought us a croquet set to play with after dinner in the summers too. My kids love it! LG always picks purple and Liam always picks orange. 😊 Although to be honest my kids are out there trying to play at 7 am instead of at night haha, so we are working on that because mama doesn't want her coffee with a side of croquet. 😉

What did you buy this month on Amazon? Anything you'd recommend?

Today I am linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and on Tuesday I'll be linking up with Tanya for Prime Purchases. I hope your week gets off to a great start!!
