Friday Favorites-- Another Random Assortment

Good Morning and happy Friday! Our week feels a little off because we are still on vacation in Colorado. Vacation days all kinda feel like a Friday, right?
Before we get started today I wanted to remind you that there is still time to join the "Weekend Highlights" link up from Monday. I love learning more about the people who read my blog, so please feel free to link up with what you and your family have been up to. It'll be so nice to put a face with the names of you sweet readers!!

Today I am linking up with Erika for Friday Favorites and it is another random assortment of things today. Let's get to it!
Lily Grace had her first ever "big" flight (3+ hours) on our way here and these Melissa and Doug Water Wow books truly saved the day! She spent at least half of the flight playing with these and since the pen holds only water, we didn't have to worry about a mess anywhere.
I found out about them through a toddler mom Instagram account I follow (@busytoddler) and I'm SO happy we grabbed them before the flight! If you have any long trips coming up this summer, I HIGHLY recommend them!
Here she is playing with it again in my lap. (In case you're wondering, no she doesn't normally use a pacifier anymore but we wanted her to have something to suck on in case the air pressure hurt her ears)

In this picture she's also wearing her "fox headphones" (kid headphones) and was listening to some music. I love these so much because they are soft on her head, the volume is limited so it can't be turned up too high and hurt her ears, and apparently it is a veteran owned company-- and who doesn't want to support veterans?? Lil LOVED these!

My last two items are what I ended up grabbing Devin for Father's Day... because I know he's going to love them! Devin LOVES to cook, which is a Godsend in SO many ways. Just to name a few:
A) He's great at it
B) He finds a way to make healthy food delicious
C) I don't have to cook!  Don't get me wrong, I like cooking. But its really nice to take a few days a week off.

Since he loves cooking so much I grabbed him these:

A pizza stone for our grill outside.
And a Pizza on the Grill cookbook.

I printed this picture for the inside of his card...
It's the first time he ever made LG homemade pizza. Needless to say, it was a big hit!

Dev used to make us pizza all the time but accidentally dropped and broke our pizza stone about a month ago and we haven't gotten around to replacing it yet. I figured this was the perfect way to support his love for cooking for his family. I'm dying to know what you all/your kids got their dads for Father's Day! Please share in the comments below!

I hope you all have a great weekend. I'll see you back here on Monday with a Day in the Life of Us post. See you then!
