Friday Favorites-- Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale

Good morning friends and happy Friday! I am officially on maternity leave-- woohoo! I now have a glorious week and a half (give or take) where LG has started preschool before the baby's due date. Wouldn't it be my luck that the baby will come tomorrow and I won't get to enjoy any "quiet time" before the craziness hits?? Hah!

Today I am linking up with Erika and Andrea for Friday Favorites to share with you some of what I **hope** to see as a part of the Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale. In case you didn't already know, the sale begins in stores this weekend and online Monday.
This is the BEST time of year to buy Lilly Pulitzer items at a heavily discounted rate. Last year I grabbed a swimsuit, a couple maxi dresses, and some dresses for Lily Grace. I love buying her dresses from the sale because when they're heavily discounted I don't worry as much about things getting on them/them getting stained.

Here is what I am hoping to see go on sale:
Pearl Stretch Shift Dress-- I love these classic shift dresses because they will still be in style for years to come. They are also so flattering on every body type.

Tisbury Shift Dress-- I love this for a more casual yet still classy look.
Skipper Popover-- I have bought some of these during the sale over the years and they are some of my favorite things to wear when out running errands in the fall and spring. They're the perfect mix between cute and comfy.
Girl's Shift Dress-- This is the best time to buy the girls' clothes since its so heavily discounted. I try to stock up during the sale.
Jackie Silk Shift Dress-- If possible, I try to buy at least one "Mommy and Me" outfits. I know I won't be able to be able to get LG to match me forever so I am taking advantage of as many opportunities as I can while I still have them!
Bowen Halter Top-- I love to pair Lilly's beautiful patterned tops with something simple like white pants or shorts. Sometimes Lilly patterns can be a bit loud for my taste, but pairing them with something simple helps to tone it down a bit.
Patsi Romper-- And then this just looks adorable and also super comfy! This is one I will definitely want to try on in store this weekend if possible. I am 5' 8" and sometimes have trouble with rompers fitting properly. They're either too short in the torso, or too short where the shorts are, which isn't flattering either.

Are you planning on shopping the sale? What are you hoping to get?

  2. I can't say I'm overly obsessed with the designer but think I am going to shop the sale this year and see what I can get.

    1. Sometimes the prints can be a little too much, but they have great solid pieces that are in classic styles that'll be great for years to come!
