What I'm Priming February

Hello there and happy Friday! I hope you have some fun plans for the weekend ahead. We have a good mix of busy and relaxing on our schedule. It should turn out to be a nice weekend! Today for Friday Favorites I am sharing What I'm Priming for the month of February. I will also be linking up with Tanya on Tuesday.

Before I start though, one of my good friends was telling me this week to always double check my Amazon purchases on Walmart.com first. Sometimes the prices are much better on Walmart.com, and they ship for free if you spend over $35 (which is easy to do!). For example, I saw on Erika's blog recently about the Southern Pecan k cups and I thought they sounded good. I went to Amazon and saw a 24 pack was $24:

Then I went to Walmart and the same 24 pack was only $14:

So take my friend's advice and always double check! Sometimes the price is better at Walmart, sometimes it's better at Amazon. It only takes a minute to look though, and if it saves you some money then it's worth it!

Now, let's get to the meat of the post, my purchases in February:

Wallet Ninja: I bought this for Dev for Valentine's Day after seeing it on Lindsay's blog. So far he has used it quite a bit! It has multiple different gadgets on it, but he has used it for the screwdrivers the most.

Crest Whitestrips-- I was out of Crest Whitestrips and Amazon appears to be the cheapest place to get them.

Pop Its: I always love Andrea's Valentine's ideas and this year decided to go with her Pop It one. One pack of these was enough for both kids' classes.

Tablets: We are prepping for our trip to Ireland and since I will be flying over with both kids by myself, I am getting whatever I think will help. I honestly think (and hope) they will sleep on the flight, but I am a little nervous about handling customs by myself with two tired kiddos. These were buy one get one half off and I thought it could be a good investment. Right now our plan is only to use them for travel.

2 Pack Kid Headphones and Splitter-- We needed some kid headphones to go with the tablets, and this one came with a splitter. This way if they both want to watch the same movie, they can share.

Carseat Roller: We are bringing Liam's carseat for the plane (and rental car) and I knew there was no way I'd be able to lug that thing around the airport while simultaneously trying to hold two sets of hands. One kiddo can ride in it while I pull and then I'll hold the other kid's hand.

Today I am linking up with Andrea and Erika for Friday Favorites. Have a great weekend!

  1. Great travel finds; it can be so tough to travel with kids and I am all for anything that keeps them happy while doing so. Extra junk food? Sure! Another movie? Sure! LOL.

  3. Love the idea of checking on Walmart before ordering on Amazon. That car seat carrier would be a great help.
