Hello my friends! Happy Friday!
My best girlfriends and I are on our annual girls trip this weekend and I could not be more thrilled!! The picture above is from our trip last year. This mama is looking forward to a weekend of uninterrupted friend time!!
Today I wanted to share a little bit of what we've been up to lately. We have been busy busy, but have been having a blast!
Halloween!! Can we talk about how cute these two are?
Our little girl wanted to be "spooky" this year, but I wasn't ready to commit to full-on scary. I figured the queen from Snow White was spooky without being too spooky. Liam wanted to be a dinosaur again, which is what he was last year. When you find something you like, you stick with it apparently!
Here are some pictures of them with all their "loot"!
I was lucky enough to get to go on a field trip with Lily Grace's class to the farm a few weeks ago. It was the most beautiful fall day: chilly in the morning, but beautiful by the afternoon.
I loved getting to spend the day with my sweet girl and her little besties.
Then, last weekend, a big group of my friends threw me a "Fu** Cancer" party. We rented a party bus and went to a nearby vineyard for a day. We had so much fun together!!! This group of friends has been friends for over 15 years. It's crazy how time flies!!
One of my friends got us all matching "Fu** Cancer" bracelets. :)
Then, last Sunday, Lily Grace and I went to see the Taylor Swift movie. I thought there was no way she'd make it the full 3 hours. I told Devin "the tickets are only $13, if we only make it an hour, that's fine." Yet we stayed the whole time and she was up and dancing her heart out!
Now I have a Swiftie living at home with us and I am loving it!! Last night she set up her Barbies and told me "they're going to the Taylor Swift concert and the one in the purple dress is Taylor!" It's so dang cute!!
Meanwhile, Liam was living his best life helping rake leaves. He loves any opportunity to help Devin with yard work-- especially when Devin lets him use the leaf blower!
In other news, our big girl's first ever soccer season is coming to a close and she had a blast.
Thank you for reading along today! I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!
I hope you have the BESt weekend with your girls. I saw the Taylor Swift movie with my daughter last weekend, and it was so fun! Tanya - the Other Side of the Road
ReplyDeleteLove that you celebrated with your friends! I'm still hoping to see the Taylor Swift movie. Hadley wants to see it too.
