I mentioned a few weeks ago that we had a family friend take our Christmas card pictures. Our friend Kendall is incredibly talented and our group of girlfriends has been trying to convince her for years to start up her own photography business. You'll clearly be able to see why! She does such a wonderful job of making everyone feel relaxed enough to be themselves-- which then shines through the pictures. It's very easy to see what a quirky bunch the Darrell family is... but I love that! Now the only tough thing will be trying to pick which one for the card.

ReplyDeleteThank you!! I actually had planned for both kids to have sweaters/jackets on but it ended up being 80 degrees-- we were sweating like crazy! Happy to know what they had on underneath their jackets/sweaters still coordinated!

ReplyDeleteHahaha yeah we can't seem to get one where both kids are looking at the camera AND smiling simultaneously. But that's our real life these days, so I'm happy Kendall captured us as we really are!

Thank you!! Yes, it was beautiful! It was about 35 minutes from our house, so maybe if we get sick of being cooped up this fall/winter we will head back for some fresh air in a different place
DeleteYour family pictures are incredible. We have never done professional family pictures and I'm not sure why. Now that we are expecting #2, I use the excuse that our family wasn't complete yet and we were waiting for her.. :) I love how you coordinated your outfits and all the colors. These pics are sooooo frame worthy!!
