Back to School Shopping: Kids Clothes

Hi there! Happy Friday! Today I am writing about some of the back to school shopping I've done for the kids, but I need your help! Where do you buy your kids shoes? My kids are hard on shoes and seem to go through them quickly. They both need to wear sneakers to school and I'm wondering if it's worth it to invest a little more in a better quality pair rather than buying multiple pairs that are only so-so quality. Thanks in advance for the help, let's get started!

My first stop when back to school shopping for the kids is usually the outlet mall. We have two outlet malls in Charlotte, and there is one in Blowing Rock near my parents. When we were there this past weekend, I went to go grab the kids some clothes but was disappointed to see some of my favorite stores had not survived COVID 😞. We were still able to get a little shopping done, mostly for Liam. I hit up the Polo Factory Store and usually head straight to the sale section. On top of the current discounts, the store was offering 20% off, then an additional 20% off that. Most of these shirts were less than $10!

Then I grabbed him a couple pairs of pants at Target (some clothes are $10 off if you spend $40 right now).

For LG most of the stores we were wanting to go to had closed, so I decided to look online instead. This girl is going to school 4 days this week, so she needed more clothes than Liam (who is only going 2 days). She is also harder on clothes than he is. She's my tree climber, bike rider, running around like a bundle of energy kiddo.. who insists on doing it all while all dolled up 😊. I found:

Stripe Popover Romper

Printed Jumpsuit

Eyelet Sleeve Top (only $6!)

Sage Short Sleeve Dress

Dot Sleeve Ruffle Romper

Polka Dot Dress

Floral Ruffle Dress

Striped Button Front Dress

Hopefully this will be enough to carry us through the fall and some of the winter (with sweaters and leggings). Please leave me a comment below and tell me where you got your kids' shoes-- or clothes! Today I am linking up with Andrea and Erika for Friday Favorites. Have a great weekend!

  1. We go through tennis too. The best brand that has lasted for us is Sketchers. i struggle to with paying the higher price and them growing out of the shoes before the school year is over.

    1. Haha I know right?? She has already worn it once and school doesn't start for a few more weeks... so much for "back to school clothes"
