What I've Been Priming

It is a brand new month, which means it is time for the monthly look into my Amazon shopping addiction 😉. Truly, what did moms do before Amazon Prime?

Here is a look at my purchases for the month of July:

Okay I feel good about starting off with this one because it wasn't technically for me.. it was for one of my sisters. #imnottheonlyshoppingaddict

One of my sisters has a Prime account, and the other does not so she usually just asks us to Prime her some stuff once in awhile and have it shipped directly to her. This summer she was looking for a new swimsuit and found this one on Amazon. I have to say, this was the most flattering swimsuit I have seen all summer, especially for the price! It is not nearly as low cut as the picture makes it look, I promise. I almost bought one for myself for next year, but figured I should wait to see what my postpartum body looks like next spring before I go ordering swimsuits :). I know summer is coming to an end, but if you're looking for one more inexpensive swimsuit, I really recommend this one!
Speaking of pregnant, my next item was this belly band/waistline extender and I have LOVED it! I am still able to fit into some of my non-maternity shorts, which made this band completely worth the $21. Rather than buying multiple pairs of maternity shorts (which can be pricey!), I can just switch this band out from one pair of regular shorts to another.
I also bought this dress in both green and blue this summer and have been wearing them nonstop. These are not maternity dresses, but they are loose enough in the stomach area that they fit perfectly (I did order up a size). One of my favorite things about this dress is the pockets! Who doesn't love pockets on a dress? Also, these dresses are super comfy and have the feel of a t-shirt, which is another obvious win. I plan to bring one of them to the hospital for my "going home" outfit because I know these will be comfy and easily fit on my postpartum body too.
FYI- my mom is totally rolling her eyes at me posting this one and saying "Not everything needs to be posted online, Lauren".. sorry mom! Potty training has been a big success so I grabbed a few packs of these. LG loves princesses, which made using the "big girl potty" that much more exciting for her. Although she has now become so fascinated by the flusher that we caught her flushing random things down the toilet... which brings us to these:
Thank God we didn't lose anything valuable or need to call a plumber 😂 We are also grateful that toilet locks have been invented! Did any of you experience this with your children?? I'd be happy to know we aren't alone in this!
I also bought my new planner for the year and a pack of stickers to go with it. This is the "super mom" pack and has everything a mom would need in order to stay organized. I also use a seasonal pack which I love, but didn't need to order a new one this year.
I also grabbed Lily Grace's Bento Box for her lunches at school this year. This fits perfectly into her lunchbox with a slim ice pack.

So those are the many purchases I made this past month on Amazon.. can't wait to see what you all bought too! Why is it so addicting to see other people's Amazon carts??

Have a great day :)

  1. That's quite a diverse roundup! I just primed a hamper for my teen girl on Amazon and some USB chargers. Oh, and toilet paper! Not super exciting, but #reallife

  3. Those waist expanders are awesome! I wish they had made something like that when I was pregnant. I hated those maternity pants with those huge belly panels.
