Amazon Finds February and March

Hi there and happy Wednesday! Last month I took a little break from blogging while we got moved back in and all situated. When I took my break, I never ended up posting my Amazon purchases for February... meaning this month I am posting February AND March purchases. I hope you have your cup of coffee ready, I have a LOT of purchases to share today!

Bird Feeder-- We have had so much fun with this bird feeder in our backyard! Lily Grace can see it from her spot at our dining table and she loves to look outside and tell us how many birds are at the bird feeder. We have seen over a dozen different species so far-- I didn't even know that many different types of birds lived around here. 😂 We bought two different bird seeds at our local hardware store and mix them together to attract different varieties of birds and keep the squirrels away. These are the two we mixed together: regular bird seed and sizzle and heat bird seed which keeps the squirrels away. It honestly works like a charm. We haven't seen a single squirrel out there.

Running Shorts with Pockets-- I needed another pair of running shorts and saw these with pockets. I really like them! They fit perfectly and the pockets are convenient. I don't keep anything in them while I run, because they would fall out, but the pockets are great for just hanging around the backyard with the kids.

Printer Cartridge Refills-- We used to get our printer cartridges refilled at Costco because it was cheaper than buying new ones (not to mention better for the environment to refill them instead of throwing away more plastic into a landfill!). We recently took them in to our local Costco and they told us they weren't refilling them anymore.. bummer. So I looked online to see if we could try refilling them ourselves and figured it was worth it to give this a try. It worked! We had enough to refill multiple times. This is for specific HP printer models, so check which model you have before buying!

Cordless Vacuum-- I bought one of these to vacuum my car out with and LOVE it! I not only use it for the car, but to vacuum the couch and other weird/hard to reach places. I highly recommend!

American Flag-- We hang an American flag off our front porch and our old flag was looking a little worse for the wear after the winter. We decided to grab another one and a new flagpole. This flag was super inexpensive and had a bunch of high reviews. It's prefect!

Twin Bedding-- Lily Grace got a new bed when we moved back in and she needed some bedding to go with it. I saw this one originally on Target's website but then noticed it was on Amazon too. Since we have the Amazon credit card and get points for purchases, I technically had enough points to get this one "for free" using points. That made for an easy decision or Target vs Amazon!

K Cup Variety Pack-- I usually try to use our reusable k cups and filters, but every once in awhile I am in the mood for something different. I buy the variety pack of k cups 2-3 times a year so I can have some other options if I'm in the mood to mix it up.

Prayer Journal-- I had finished up my old prayer journal and had this one in my cart for forever. I finally bought it and really love it. I love that it gives you a specific verse for the week to focus on, but then some free space for you to write how that verse relates to your life. It also has a spot to write the dates you are praying for specific things and a date to add when the prayers are answered. I used to have that in an old prayer journal I had and loved it! You don't realize how often your prayers get answered until you see them written down in front of you. 😀

Electric Air Pump-- We have one of those giant inflatable pools for the kids in the summer and attempted to blow it up one day a couple weeks ago when it was 80 and sunny. We use an air mattress pump to blow up the inflatable pool but our air mattress pump was no longer working. Hence the new one!

Foot Exfoliant Masks-- I used this for the first time a couple months ago and loved it! It comes in a pack of 3 but I shared them with family and friends, so I was out. With sandals season being right around the corner my feet could use a little more exfoliating. These things are so gross but cool at the same time. It takes a couple days for them to work, but once they start to work they really work. I hadn't told Devin I did one and he saw my skin peeling off my feet and his facial expression had me dying laughing. I still laugh about it 😂 Your foot really will look like the foot in the picture above.

Whew! That's a lot! I swear Amazon must make a fortune off moms of young kids. Yes, I technically could've driven to Walmart or Target to buy most of this stuff but it is so much easier to just click and buy while my kids are napping instead of dragging two little ones to the store. I often wonder what people did before Amazon existed. Probably spent a lot less money!!

  2. That bird seed is intriguing. We had so many squirrels that any sort of feeder is immediately ransacked. I am going to see if I can find it, we have so many birds here and I would love to feed them.

I don't have a Keurig at home but the office has one and they stopped restocking our coffee wince not everyone comes in everyday- I should definitely get these to share! I also have the cordless vacuum and love it for smaller rugs and in between the couch cushions!
