Friday Favorites

Hello hello and happy Friday! We've had a busier than usual week around here which has made this week FLY by! Here's a look at our week:

First of all, if you missed my posts on Monday or Wednesday I had a Life Lately Part 1 and Part 2 posts.

Then on Thursday, I shared one of our favorite breakfasts:

Now let's have a closer look at the week.

Favorite Moments:

I got to meet my friend's new baby! Oh my goodness I forgot how precious they are as newborns... and also, they don't do a whole lot! Sweet baby just slept the entire time we hung out, which is an awful lot easier than bringing a 4 year old and a 2 year old to girls night. 😂

One day we were out running errands and saw some of the stores already had Halloween decorations out. I am a sucker for any holiday so when LG asked if we could grab a couple decorations, she met zero resistance from me.

Also, I got to substitute teach at my old school yesterday. I love getting to go back in there and see my old teacher friends and see all the students. It's great to go back, see everyone, and then not have to do it again for a few weeks-- hah!

Favorite Purchases:

We were at Target this week and came across these fire truck shoes in Liam's size and knew we had to get them. I wish you could've seen his face light up when he saw them! He thinks he is big stuff!

I also ordered this dress in burgundy red (thanks to Jennifer for posting it first!). I think it'll be great for fall.

Favorite Way to Spend My Free Time:

I have been crawling into bed early each night this week with a glass of red wine and this book:

I am really enjoying it!! I used to think cheesy novels weren't really my thing, but maybe they are?

That was our week! I hope you all have a nice weekend. Today I am linking up with Andrea and Erika for Friday Favorites.

  1. Your book looks great and the perfect match with a glass of wine. Enjoy! That theater is so cool. I love when buildings are renovated and they keep some of the original details. Have a great weekend!

    1. Me too! Especially an old church. I’m a sucker for stained glass

  2. Aw, nothing quite like new baby snuggles (especially when you don't have to wake up in the middle of the night to feed and change them!).

  3. Those fire truck shoes are super cute and I might just have to buy one of those dresses for myself.

    1. Haha I may have shot myself in the foot with the fire truck shoes. They are the only ones he will wear now! Even to the pool 😁
