Trader Joe's Fall Items Ranked

Hi friends! Happy Friday! Over the past few weeks we have been trying out several of Trader Joe's fall food items. I always love to see what other people get at Trader Joe's-- especially their seasonal food! I know that people have different tastes, so I thought it might be fun to have both Devin and I rank the different items on a scale of 1-10. That way you could see if both of us loved an item or if only one os us did. There was also one item that we both did NOT like!

Fair warning, this is only a handful of Trader Joe's fall items because as you all know, TJ's does a LOT of fall foods! There was no way we could buy them all and taste test them all within a timely manner! When I go again this weekend I will try to grab a few different things if they're still there!

Look through the items below and tell me your thoughts. Have you tried any of these? What did you think? Are there any you haven't tried yet but would like to?

Fall Harvest Salsa: Lauren's Ranking: 10/10.  Devin's Ranking: 9/10

This one was a big hit! Devin said he would've given it a higher score but to him a 10/10 meant "the best salsa I've ever had in my life". Apparently he's a tough crowd. I obviously loved it!! The jar was gone within 48 hours 😂 Safe to say we would buy this again!

Fall Leaf Chips: Lauren's Ranking: 6/10.   Devin's Ranking: 6/10

These were good, but they really just tasted like regular tortilla chips to us. The shape was cute, and would be adorable on a fall charcuterie board. We thought they could've been a teensy bit saltier. I would definitely buy these again, but mostly just to add to a fall charcuterie board.

Butternut Squash Mac and Cheese: Lauren's Ranking: 6/10   Devin's Ranking: 7/10

While we both liked this one, we both said we didn't taste the butternut squash very much. It was subtle, and we were hoping for a little more flavor. It had a touch of cayenne pepper in it, which we liked but may not be for everyone. I would not buy this again, although Devin said he would!

Pumpkin Bread and Muffin Mix: Lauren's Ranking: 8/10.  Devin's Ranking: 8/10

These were another big hit! They were super simple to make and the pumpkin flavor was juuuuuust right. Not too subtle, but not overpowering either. You would never know they were gluten free unless you had read the box! We will definitely buy these again.

Fall Zucchette Pasta: Lauren's Ranking: 9/10.  Devin's Ranking: 8/10

Another hit! We loved the cute little shape of them, and the flavor was perfect. The butternut squash flavoring was definitely more subtle, but I think that is good for pasta because that makes it more versatile. Definitely buying again!

Riced Cauliflower and Butternut Squash Risotto: Lauren's Ranking: 1/10.  Devin's Ranking: 2/10

Yikes. This one was a swing and a miss. I think marketing it as "risotto" is where they went wrong here. I was expecting the super fluffy texture and flavor punch of risotto, but this was most definitely not that. I am all about some healthy food and typically love riced cauliflower anything, but this was an exception. We will not be buying this one again.

And we saved the best for last...

Autumnal Harvest Creamy Pasta Sauce: Lauren's Ranking: 10/10 Devin's Ranking: 10/10

Woohoo! A home run! This one was so good that when we made it the whole family ate it up immediately, and Devin and Lily Grace were both asking when we could have it again. 😂 The flavors in this sauce are phenomenal!! I actually remembered loving this sauce so much last year that when I saw it for sale at TJ's, I stocked up and bought 6 jars. The sales associates said once it's gone, it's gone. They won't have any more until next year. So if you make it to TJ's over the weekend, grab several jars! You won't regret it!! Obviously, we will be buying this one again. 😀

Today I am linking up with Andrea and Erika for Friday Favorites. Have a great weekend!!
