What I've Been Priming-- October

Good morning friends and happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful Halloween weekend. Hopefully you had very few tricks but many treats 😁. Lily Grace had a last minute costume change on us at the beginning of last week but we were able to pull off the new costume-- a witch and her "witches bro" (witches brew).

It's hard to tell in the pictures but I attempted to make Liam a cauldron costume. It's kinda easier to see here:

And here is his brew spilling out of the cauldron:

For having absolutely zero sewing skills, I'll take it!

Anyway, today I want to share my Prime post for the month of October. I LOVE reading other people's Prime posts-- I always leave with an idea sparked about something we need/want. Hopefully this post does the same for you today!

Balloon Arch-- Okay so I have seen these all over the internet for awhile now and have always wanted to try one but was a little intimidated. This kit was shockingly easy!! My friends kept commenting "that must've taken forever" but it really didn't! Once the balloons were all blown up, I was able to put the whole thing together in less than half an hour. It made such a big impact and was only $15! We bought it for Liam's birthday party we did at a park though-- and it ended up raining and being very windy 😑. I do NOT recommend putting one outside in the rain/wind! Maybe if we had done an indoor party I would've ended up with pictures of the completed arch, but oh well! I will definitely do one of these again!

Bed Head Wave Artist-- Oh my goodness, I am OBSESSED with this thing! See my hair in that Halloween picture at the top? This is what I used to do it. This gives your hair just a hint of wave without being too crimpy/too much. I turn the heat down to the lowest setting because I prefer a more subtle look. On day 2 of this style I spray a little Oribe Texturizing Spray and I think it looks even better than day 1.

Brexit For Dummies-- Can you guess which family member this was for?? Devin works in international business and his company is trying to figure out a little more about how things are going to change for their British offices and subsidiaries.  They are going through the transition period right now and are trying to figure out how to make this go as smoothly as possible. He has been reading article after article and figured it wouldn't hurt to try this book too. He said he would definitely recommend it because it is a straightforward look at something that can be intimidating and complicated. He did say that things keep changing, making some of the info in this book already outdated, but that it is still worth reading for anyone in/interested in international business.

I bought almost all of LG's Halloween costume stuff on Amazon this year too, while I was able to get most of Liam's at Walmart.

Kauai Coffee-- And of course we got more of our favorite coffee!

Thanks for following along today! See you back here Wednesday for my October book review!
