Best and Worst Christmas Movies.. Our Opinion!

Just like many of you, we are full swing into the Christmas movies over here!

I sent this picture to my sister and her response was "good God is there even hot chocolate in there or is it just a cup of marshmallows?" 😂 I may have gone a little overkill.

Anyway so our new nightly thing is to make a giant cup of hot cocoa and turn on a different movie, which unfortunately has led to quite the debate in the Darrell house. Maybe you can help us solve it...

Last week we were watching one of my all time favorite Christmas movies, White Christmas, and Devin said he didn't like it. Not just that he didn't like it, but that "it's boring" and "it's hardly even a Christmas movie.. it's only Christmas-y in the beginning and the last 10 minutes." I was in shock-- I LOVE White Christmas! I thought everyone loved White Christmas! So then I proceeded to ask Devin what his favorite Christmas movie was and he said Die Hard. Die Hard! I mean, what?? Hahaha I laughed out loud. He swore that Die Hard was more of a Christmas movie than White Christmas. So first, I need you all to help us settle this debate.. which movie is more Christmas-y?

Other than our #1 top Christmas movies, we actually agreed on most of our other favorites.. and the ones we don't like! I wanted to share our list of best and worst Christmas movies with you just in case you are like us and are watching all the movies this week! Here are our favorites:

1. Home Alone

2. Christmas Vacation

3. Love Actually

4. It's a Wonderful Life

5. The Holiday (Devin disagrees and says The Year Without a Santa Claus)

Christmas Movies We Don't Like:

1. The Family Stone-- This one is so depressing! Both of us just felt so sad afterwards

2. Elf-- I know this is controversial because so many people love it-- but we just can't get into it. I either find Will Ferrell funny or annoying and in Elf he is just annoying.

3. A Christmas Story-- I love classic movies, but this one just doesn't do it for me.

4. Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer-- I know this was a big deal because it was a full length stop animation film from the 60's, but we just can't get into this one either!

Okay so now I'm dying to know-- what are your favorite and least favorite Christmas movies?? Leave me a comment below!

  4. I am not a fan of Elf or a Christmas Story. I never saw A Christmas Story as a kid and I watch it now and I'm like what is everyone's obsession. Plus it was filmed like 20 minutes from me and I dont get the obsession over the whole thing. They do sleepovers and tours and 5k's at the house.

  9. I don't know if I've ever seen White Christmas. I am also not a fan of Christmas Story (my husband loves it though) and Elf is kind of okay for me. Love Christmas Vacation, Family Man, Home Alone, and The Family Stone. When I was a kid I really liked the Night Before Christmas story with the mice...?

  12. Then again there are movies that fall under activity and awfulness sorts which are reprimanded for savage substance. Chiefs like Quentin Tarantino in Hollywood and Anurag Kashyap in Bollywood have their separate explanation and intelligent clarifications with respect to such substance. Putlockers
