Amazon Purchases- April

Good morning friends and happy Friday!! I hope you all had a good week. This springtime weather is making me want to spend as much time as possible outside. I took the kids hiking multiple times this week and we ate dinner on the patio almost every night. I know it's only a matter of time before this beautiful weather turns into this:

Tuesday is supposed to be 88 degrees, so I'm thinking it's going to be sticky thighs season REAL quick!

Today I am sharing my Amazon purchases for the month. After looking at my purchases for April I realized this month could've basically been summed up as "getting the backyard ready for summer". Get ready for all the backyard purchases!

Wet & Forget Spray-- Part of our fence gets more shade than the rest and we had a bit of algae build up on it. My parents recommended we grab this stuff and just like the name says, you truly "wet and forget". You spray it on, then it works its magic all on it's own! We were happy not to have to scrub anything.

Inflatable Pool-- We have had an inflatable pool for the past few years and the kids LOVE it (okay let's be honest, so do I 😜). Our old one had a few holes in it and we kept having to reinflate it every half hour or so. I decided it was finally time to get a new one so we I bought this one! The kids LOVE the elephant nose sprayer!

Pool Cover-- It took all of 10 minutes for the pool to get filled with pollen/leaves/debris so I bought a pool cover too.

Hose-- We needed a new hose this year, so I grabbed this one that scrunches up when empty. Much easier for storing than a regular one! It came with an attachment too which will be nice for watering the plants.

Plant Netting-- Last year we had the hardest time keeping the squirrels/chipmunks/birds/etc. away from our blueberry bushes and cherry tomatoes. I ordered these to see if they will help act as a deterrent. You can pull the drawstring cord to tighten the netting around the base of the pot. So far so good!

Bow and Arrow Party Favors-- Our little Merida is having a "Brave" themed birthday party so I got these as party favors for her friends. If you've seen the movie, you know that Merida loves archery. It seemed like a fun (and also cheap) party favor. Hopefully the other parents don't hate me for giving their children a bow and arrow 😂. They can keep it outside, right??

Scar Away Scar Sheets-- Remember the moles I had removed earlier this month? The dermatologist recommended I start using these once I have my stitches out. Apparently they will help the scars to be less noticeable. It's too soon to tell yet, but I'm hopeful!

What was the last thing you bought on Amazon??

Today I am linking up with Andrea and Erika for Friday Favorites. Have a great weekend!!

  1. I had a inflatable pool just like that with the cover. It lasted us for at least 2 years. Living in Florida the sun fries it LOL

  5. I posted today about using a lotion to help get rid of dark spots from mosquito bites. Maybe I need to check out the Scaraway! I remember when we all loved the inflatable pool during the summer...so fun! Thanks for linking up with Prime Purchases! Tanya - The Other Side of the Road

  6. The inflatable pool cover is genius. I wish we had one through the years when the kids were little.
