What I've Been Priming

I don't know about you, but I love to read other people's posts about what they've been ordering on Amazon Prime. It gives you a little snapshot into what their day to day lives look like, and being the nosey person that I am, I'm all about it! I figured there might be one or two of you out there who also love to read those types of posts... so here goes!
Kitchen countertop

1. Marble Contact Paper-- so we are going to do a MAJOR house renovation within the next year or two and are currently saving up for it. Devin convinced me that we should pay for more of it up front rather than through a loan since we would end up paying so much more for it long term through a loan. Anyway, we are saving up for this major reno that will include our kitchen... but in the meantime I just cannot stand our hideous formica kitchen countertops any longer. I saw some projects on pinterest that will help us "fake it till we make it" as far as our renovation goes, and I decided to give this one a whirl. Apparently you can put this faux marble contact paper down to cover your current countertops and it actually looks pretty decent! Above is the stock photo from their page on Amazon.

Here is the inspiration picture from Pinterest:
DIY Counters: Dated laminate to modern "Marble" for Only $25!! Such a drastic change and so easy too!
It's worth a shot, right? Apparently it doesn't leave any damage if we decide to take it off. As far as I'm concerned, it can't look worse than it does now!
Tic Tac Tiles Peel and Stick 3D Backsplash

2. Tic Tac Tiles-- This will be our temporary back splash until we get the real thing done for our renovation. These are also peel and stick and can come down if needed. The reviews are all great and apparently this project is much easier than it looks... so we will have to see! I'll be sure to post some pictures.

Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo, 4 Ounce

Ladies, if you have not tried Living Proof's Dry Shampoo, you are seriously missing out. I have naturally oily hair and used to shampoo it every single day. Because of this dry shampoo, I only need to wash my hair 3 times a week. This stuff actually cleans your hair, it isn't just something to soak up oil for a few hours. It is on the pricier side for dry shampoo, but a little bit goes a long way and I can make a can last about 4 months. Also, the Amazon price is better than the price at Ulta or Sephora, so you're better off buying it online!

I have this weird love for organization and it makes me so happy when my bins all match and line up nicely together. I moved classrooms this year and had more space for storage but wanted them to look nice on the shelf. I love these because the kids can see inside the bins to find what they need without asking for my help.

We have this shower scrubber with a long handle so you don't have to bend over to scrub and I love it! Anything that makes cleaning easier, right? We just order some replacement scrubbers for the end of it every few months.

me & My Big Ideas PLNR-72 The Happy Planner System, Medium, Brushy Brights/Classic
I wrote an entire blog post about how much I love this planner. It is my favorite by far.

me & my BIG ideas Create 365 The Happy Planner Note Pad, Red and Teal
I needed a new notepad to write down my monthly goals on and picked up this one. I use some washi tape to add it to my planner every month.

I love having a sunkissed glow all year round, so I picked up a box of these in order to keep my tan from fading this fall.

So that's what I've been Priming lately! How about you? Anything good you'd recommend?
