Monthly Goals-- March

Before we start today I wanted to let you know I created a new Instagram account specifically to tie in with the blog. I felt a little uncomfortable having all of our personal information/pictures out there on the internet for the whole world to see through my personal account, but also still wanted to be able to share some of that stuff with close family and friends. So the new public account will be AllAboutThatMommyLifeBlog. If you want to follow along, please do! And leave me your info at the bottom, I'd love to follow you too. Today I will try to do A Day in the Life Every Hour post on my stories if you want to follow along.
Anyone else ready for spring to be here already?? Bring on the warm weather!

It feels like it has been forever since I've done a monthly goals post! These are always some of my favorite posts to write and look back at in later months. I feel that putting them online has helped to keep me accountable for achieving them too, which is a wonderful side bonus of blogging 😀

January and February turned out to be a little crazier than expected, and I didn't want to set unrealistic goals for myself. Basically my goal for those two months was "survive the madness" and that doesn't exactly make a riveting blog post ðŸ˜‰. So since those two months were a wash, let's look ahead at March, shall we?
Planner (mine is currently unavailable, but this llama one is super cute and is the same brand!)/Stickers/Notepads/Pens
I love using my planner daily to stay organized and really do feel like it keeps me on track. If you're in the market for a new planner, I highly recommend this one.

1. Reach my Fitbit goal of 10k steps at least 5 times/week-- A couple girlfriends and I have decided to "make it interesting" and now pay the winner of our weekly challenges $10 each. We considered it "buying the winner a drink". It has REALLY upped the motivation in our group! We went from barely getting our 10k/day in to getting upwards of 16k/day!
2. Continue to do my BBG exercises 3 days/week-- I am still loving the BBG exercises and love how much stronger I feel from doing them. This month I am hoping to keep up with it as much as I can, especially the arms and legs exercises. I follow the pregnancy modifications Kayla has posted on her Instagram account and the Sweat app has a website with pregnancy modifications too.
3. Read 3 books this month-- Somehow I actually found the time to read in February so I'm hoping I can continue that and keep reading in March as well, despite potentially moving. I listened to a lot of audiobooks while we were packing/cleaning/decluttering our house when we were preparing to list it, so maybe I can do the same thing once we move?
4. Find a good professional development for STEM teachers-- I love attending professional developments but haven't been able to find one that is STEM focused, appropriate for the elementary level, and isn't CRAZY expensive. Everything that I have been able to find is either for middle/high school teachers, or well over $1,000 (the budget I've been allotted). I know there has to be something out there, so my goal is to not give up until I find one this month. I know so many of you readers are teachers-- I am open to any suggestions if you have any!!

Fingers crossed that I accomplish at least a few of these!! Do you do goals for the month? Share below!
