What's Up Wednesday

Happy What's Up Wednesday everyone! I cannot believe it is already the end of another month. Is it me or did this month fly by?? I'm okay with it though because it means we are one month closer to warmer weather and longer hours of daylight. Bring it on!

What We're Eating This Week: I don't know if you saw my previous post on Monday, but I'M PREGNANT!!! YAY! The only down side of being pregnant (at least for me at this moment) is that morning sickness is currently taking over. The only thing I am able to keep down are greasy carbs (hash browns, French fries, etc.) So while the rest of the family are eating healthy, well balanced meals, I've been living off of Trader Joe's frozen tater tots and other similar foods. Yuck. I am ready for the next phase!
What I'm Reminiscing About: A whole lotta looking at old pictures has been going on lately.
Getting ready for baby #2 has us reminiscing about our baby #1. How has it almost been 2 years?!
This quote above could not be more true.
What I'm Loving: It is the time of year where I start up the school's Garden Club again and I am so excited!! This is the perfect combination of two of my favorite things: teaching and gardening. I love getting to teach some of the students at my school about gardening while getting outside and getting a little dirty. The kids love it, I love it, it's an all around win.
What We've Been Up To: We are in the midst of trying to sell our house and move into a new one and it hasn't been going as we initially planned. We had a LOT of interest and even an offer on day one, but for one reason or another, things keep falling through. We had a contingency offer on the house we put in an offer on, so if our house doesn't sell we can easily back out. That being said, we don't want that to happen!
What I'm Working On: I am on the hunt for a reasonably priced STEM professional development in our area and so far haven't come across anything. I would prefer for it to be something I go to rather than an online PD because I get so much more out of those. I've reached out to a couple professional references asking their opinions and have yet to hear back, so hopefully something comes from one of those.
What I'm Excited About: Have I mentioned yet that IM PREGNANT!?!? Yeah, just a little excited...
What I'm Watching/Reading: I'm about to post my book club post for the month. This was the month I read memoirs apparently as I read:
I think you'll be surprised which one I liked the most (or maybe not, who knows?!). As for what I'm watching... the Bachelor, the Bachelor, the Bachelor!
Anyone else watching? When is he going to jump that dang fence already??? I have no idea who will be left at the end because ABC keeps throwing curveballs my way!
What I'm Listening To: I had been listening to audiobooks all month while we cleaned/decluttered/packed. Now I'm ready to switch back to my podcasts.
What I'm Wearing: I'm trying to buy as many flowy, loose tops/dresses as possible this spring because I know this little baby (who is already the size of a lime!) is just going to keep on growing. Last time I was pregnant I was able to make my loose non-maternity clothes work almost until the very end. I'm hoping that works this time around as well. I hated the idea of dropping a fortune on maternity clothes when I didn't know what time of year I'd be pregnant again in the future (or if I'd be pregnant!). The spring clothes have hit the stores so naturally I made a pit stop at my favorite store J. Crew Factory. They are having another big sale where everything is 50% or more off and an additional 40% off clearance items. They also have free shipping-- woohoo! These are just a few of the things I tried on or bought recently:
This dress was the perfect amount of flowy to last me for a few months. It runs big, so not only was the top portion baggy but the elastic around the waist had a lot of give to it.
I didn't end up buying this tank and I already regret it. I didn't realize it was only $12 after the extra discounts! I may have to swing by after work this week to pick it up. I loved this color and also loved the relaxed fit of this shirt. I also bought this necklace because it was pretty but simple enough to go with everything.
I love me some gingham and thought the tie in the front of this shirt was too cute. Another loose fitting shirt that will last me a few months and then I can wear it again in the future.
This outfit definitely doesn't fit the "loose" motif I was going for, but I thought it was so dang cute I bought it anyway. Hopefully I can fit into it for a few more weeks and then I'll be able to fit into it next spring/summer. The skirt has the cutest little scallop at the bottom and I loved the fit of the shirt.
What I'm Looking Forward to Next Month: Hopefully having more of a bump! I LOVED watching my bump grow last time and I am just dying to see that little baby grow!
What Else is New: I decided to add a new Instagram account specifically for the blog rather than using my personal one. I was a little leery of some of the personal stuff I had on mine and that being public for the world to see. The new account is AllAboutThatMommyLifeBlog if you want to follow along!

Have a great week everyone!
