Favorite Healthy Costco Finds

If you haven't noticed, the blog has a little bit of a different look and a different name. If you want to know more about that, click here. Otherwise, keep on reading!!

Good morning everyone, I hope you had a wonderful 4th weekend!! Our day was spent at the beach and looked a lot like this:
This girl LOVED getting buried in the sand!

Anyway, so a few days before we left for the beach, my dad called the Marriott Vacation Club we stay at to see if the nearby grocery stores were picked over and we should bring our own food vs. shop when we get there. We had several friends visit Hilton Head already this summer who told us the grocery stores had trouble restocking and recommended to bring our own food. The concierge at the Marriott told us the same thing, bring as much as you can. So that meant a trip to Costco before we left!

All of these foods I grabbed from Costco are things I regularly buy and wanted to share in case you're also looking for some easy, healthy food. Most of these things  were originally recommended to us from other people-- I LOVE a good recommendation! Hopefully you come away from this post with one or two new things to try.
These Acai Bowls are a new favorite! Another blogger I follow recommended these a little while back but I just recently got around to trying them. They are delicious and a super easy to grab breakfast. I just take one out of the freezer at night and move it over to the fridge. Then I set it out on the counter for about 20 minutes or so before I'm ready to eat it in the morning.
Same as above, another blogger I follow recommended this salad. It is delicious and so easy! I love just being able to pour everything into the bowl and not have to put a whole lot of effort into making it.
I also always grab one of these each time. We eat a lot of salads around here and Caesar is a classic that never gets old. I love to make some blackened salmon/shrimp/chicken to throw on top.
You all know how much I love beets (and apparently you do too!). These are already cooked and peeled, so you just cut them up and add them to whatever you want. I love to add them to salads or sometimes I just eat one or two as a snack. Beets can be such a pain to cook, so I gladly take the easy way out with these pre-cooked ones!
I usually grab Costco's frozen pineapple but they were out of it one time so I grabbed this instead. It's perfect for smoothies and has papaya, which I don't normally get, which adds a different flavor to my smoothies. It's nice to mix it up once in awhile!
These seaweed snacks are one of my favorite snacks EVER! They are perfect when you want something salty but don't want all the carbs of potato chips. For a low-cal snack they are really filling due to all the fiber.
I love dried mango and this is the cheapest place I have found to get it. They have a different kind that has sugar added, but I always get this one because mango is already sweet enough as it is. I will grab a handful of them and put them into a little bowl for a sweet afternoon snack.
My mom introduced us to Dave's Killer Bread years ago and now we just can't go back to anything else. We used to buy it at our regular grocery store because we didn't go through it quickly enough for the Costco size, but with a toddler who loves PB&J we don't seem to have that problem anymore 😉
Devin loves to take nuts as a snack to work but he usually prefers almonds. I cannot stand almonds. It's weird, I know. I love almond flavored things, but not almonds themselves. I love cashews, peanuts, pistachios, pretty much all other nuts but not almonds. So anyway, I usually grab a bag of nuts that isn't almonds and pistachios were the nut of choice today.

I told you guys about these coconut clusters a few weeks back and we are still obsessing over them. They are soooo good!! We eat them as a snack, as a dessert, or sometimes even crunch them up and sprinkle them on top of yogurt and use them like a granola. If you like coconut do yourself a favor and add these to your list!
Which brings me to this: yogurt! We eat a lot of Greek yogurt in our house so we always pick up at least one (but usually 2!) when we go to Costco. I eat yogurt with fruit and granola/chia seeds almost every morning for breakfast.
And last but not least, we love these little sweet bell peppers. They are great to cut up and dip in hummus or tzatziki. Sometimes Lily Grace and I just eat them without a dip, they are good as is!

So those are some of our favorite healthy Costco finds, I'll have to save our unhealthy finds for another day. Is there anything you buy at Costco that you'd recommend? Like I said earlier, I am always looking for something new to try and love other people's recommendations!

See you back here Wednesday! I hope you have a great day.

  1. I LOVE GROCERY POSTS! I can't say it enough- hahaha!
We buy most of those items too and just love them all. We haven't been back to our Costco since pre-pandemic (our in-laws order groceries and we add our stuff in) and we miss it!

  4. There is a new Costco about 10 minutes from my new house (won't move in until August). Seriously considering getting a membership now. I have a Sam's Club membership but I feel like the foods at Costco seem so much better. Do you have a Sam's membership? Which is better?
Also, do you know if Costco offers a Vanilla Greek Yogurt??

    1. My mom has both a Costco and a Sam's membership! She says they both have their perks and offer some different things. I only have Costco and love it! It also helps having my mom live close by with a Sam's membership though in case I needed something they had.

And no, they only have plain Greek yogurt. I wish they had vanilla, it's my favorite!! I usually buy one plain Greek from Costco and then a vanilla Greek from our regular grocery store (Harris Teeter or Trader Joe's) and then mix them.

  10. Wow! Your Costco has a lot of healthy options. I miss my Costco membership, but I cancelled it after the new covid changes. All stores had to make changes but my local Costco reminded me too much of going through customs at the more intimidating countries. lol. Thanks for sharing because I still love seeing what they have!
