What I've Been Priming- August

Hey ladies! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Today's post is short and sweet because we spent the weekend in the mountains celebrating my dad's 66th birthday-- woohoo! Now we are back and in laundry/grocery/get ready for the week mode. This week is the first week back at my former school and I am subbing a few days as a floating teacher assistant to help anywhere I'm needed. It's going to be a busy but fun week! I hope all of you have a good week ahead of you as well.

I am linking up with Tanya on Tuesday for Prime Purchases but don't typically post on Tuesdays.. so here's a look at what I bought on Amazon in the month of August:

Jandals-- My Rainbow sandals I've had for years finally bit the dust this summer and I needed a new pair of sandals. I loved my Rainbows but thought about maybe trying something new. Another blogger I follow posted about these sandals and said they were the most comfortable sandal she's ever worn. I went to go check out the reviews on Amazon and they were all really high so I thought I'd give them a chance-- Heather wasn't lying, these are AMAZING! Truly the most comfortable sandals I own and super cheap. I didn't realize the term Jandals was short for "Jesus Sandals" but I think it's hilarious 😂 I got the brown because they look mimic the real leather look.

Kauai Coffee-- Surprise surprise, I ordered more coffee again. 😂 I'm an addict! Send help! But this is my favorite coffee and they don't sell it in stores around here (in the bags at least, they sell it in the pods).

Mosquito Repeller-- We have our yard sprayed for mosquitos but we have had so much rain this year that it just doesn't seem to be working anymore. I'm also wondering if the mosquitos have become immune to the spray? Anyway, Devin did a little research and found this mosquito repeller on Amazon and we figured we'd give it a try. If it works, great! If not, we could return it. This thing works like a charm! So much so that we actually cancelled our yard spray which wasn't making a difference anymore. If you have a problem with mosquitos in your area this is definitely worth trying!

That's it this month! Hope you all have a great start to your week. I'll see you back here on Wednesday!

  1. We have the mosquito product but haven't used it much since it is SO HOT right now. Thanks so much linking up with Prime Purchases. Good luck at school!

    1. Yikes!! Hopefully the temperatures cool down for you soon!

  2. Between your coffee and Tanya's face scrub, I'm sensing a tropical theme here - we must be longing for those Hawaii or Caribbean vacations we missed this summer!

  3. lmao jandals. I've never heard that term!

  4. That mosquito repeller sounds amazing!

  5. WE actually just got that same coffee from a local store, Drug Mart.

  6. OOh, that mosquito repeller sounds amazing! I am always getting bug bites as they find me everywhere.
