Hello hello and happy Friday! We have had a fun week around here and I am excited to share with you what we've been up to.
Favorite Activities:
Disney on Ice!
A princess dress, a crown, and some cotton candy. This girl was living her best life (and so was I 😊).

Our house is the bus stop for our neighborhood kids so we decided to go all out with the Halloween decorations this year. Remember our skeleton that LG was doing yoga with a few weeks ago? Well, we found her a husband skeleton and have been decorating them in the front yard each morning. I am planning to do a post of all 31 of our ideas at the end of the month, but here are a few we have done in the past week:
To anyone who reads this blog and knows me personally, I'm sorry for the number of times I have mentioned this sauce:
It is delicious and I can't stop telling everyone I know about it! This is what I do with it:
- put some tofu in the air fryer at 400 for 10-12 minutes, boil some rice noodles according to the package directions
- sauté some garlic, onion, bell peppers, broccoli, cauliflower (honestly whatever veggies we have in the fridge) in olive oil for a 3-5 minutes
- add this sauce and bring to a boil
- add some frozen peas at the end
If you can handle a little bit of spiciness to your food, you definitely need to give it a try.
This one is another big hit:
We put it on our toast or English muffins in the morning. Goes perfectly with a smoothie on the side!
And this is what we are having for dinner tonight:
Kids' Favorites:
No picture for this one, but it warms my heart to hear how much both of our kids are loving school. They can't wait to get out the door in the morning and LG is constantly picking flowers for her teachers, or making them cards, or drawing them pictures for the next time she sees them. We are very lucky and are happy to know it's going so well. Here's hoping this love for school continues for as long as possible!
Today I am linking up with Andrea and Erika for Friday Favorites. Have a great weekend!
The skeletons doing yoga was the BEST. And the spider. Such a fun idea. Keep posting your skeleton pics.
ReplyDeleteHow fun is your house?! I am loving all these skeleton poses. Disney on Ice looks like it was amazing. I always enjoy their shows.
ReplyDeleteThe skeleton is hilarious! It’s the Halloween version of elf on a shelf. So fun!
