Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. We were lucky enough to spend the weekend in Charleston, SC for our friends' wedding. Here's a look at what we were up to:
1. Wedding Time! Our sweet friends Carter and Esther were supposed to get married the weekend of Hurricane Florence in Charleston, SC but had to postpone their wedding due to the storm. The new wedding date was Friday so after working a half day, I drove straight to Charleston. Dev and Lily Grace were already there because they were both in the wedding party and had to attend the rehearsal. Lily Grace was the flower girl and a friend sent me these pics she took of our girl walking down the aisle. They are a little blurry but they can help me hold over until the professional ones come in
She stopped to say hi to some admirers 😂😆
Lil was over it by the time we took pictures. Unfortunately this was the best attempt we were able to get of the three of us. 😒
Dev and I at the reception. Doesn't he look so nice in his tux??

2. Saturday morning we woke up and went to brunch with friends. I love that weddings bring so many people together who don't often get to see each other. Two of our other friends recently got engaged and this weekend was our first opportunity to see them since then and celebrate with them.
3. Walking around Charleston. Our really close friends brought their daughter to Charleston for the weekend too so these two besties got to spend a lot of time together.
Watching some dogs on the other side of the fence
Having some dinner together.

4. Columbia Zoo-- On Sunday morning we woke up and started making our way home. About halfway between Charleston and Charlotte is Columbia, SC and we decided to make a pit stop and explore the zoo. Lily Grace loves animals and was in heaven.
5. Yardwork-- after being away from home for almost two weeks and then jumping straight into a work week when we got back, we had some things to get caught up on around the house on Sunday. We spent the afternoon raking leaves, mowing the lawn, getting caught up on laundry, etc.
That was our weekend, I hope you had a great one too! Happy Monday friends!
