Friday Favorites-- A Random Assortment

Good Morning and happy Friday!! Today I am linking up with Erika and Andrea for Friday Favorites to share a random assortment of things I've been loving lately.

The first thing I have been obsessing over lately is this BB Cream. As the weather gets hotter I find myself wearing less makeup and wanting something lighter that doesn't feel like it's melting off. This BB Cream is exactly that. It feels like a light moisturizer going on but gives the tiniest hint of coverage. Perfect for this time of year. I originally found out about this brand, Purlisse, through the Ipsy bags I get every month and am now a Purlisse addict. I buy the "light" color.
Another thing I am loving so much right now are our peonies. Insert all the heart eye emojis here. I mean I know I'm biased, but are these not stunning?? I cannot get enough of these gorgeous blooms and wish they would stay forever! These plants are in our front yard and are getting full sun while we have one in the backyard getting part sun, and it hasn't bloomed at all. Looks like its time to move that one. But in the meantime I am just LOVING walking by these every time we go up to our front door. I wrote all about my love for gardening here if you're interested.
I was flipping through some other bloggers Amazon purchases this week and stumbled across this pineapple peeler. Ladies, this was a game changer! We love pineapple around here and I usually buy one every other week but dread having to cut it-- it's such a process. I figured since it was only $5.99 I'd buy this pineapple peeler and give it a shot. I am so happy I did! This was so much easier than cutting it the old way. I think once I get the hang of it it'll be even faster.
Another thing I am using on repeat these days are these tanning wipes. It's that time of year where I am wearing shorts/dresses/sleeveless tops and I always feel better with a little glow. These wipes give you just enough of a glow without being too intense. During the winter I use the half-body application since nobody sees my legs anyway, but this time of year I use the full body wipes
As the tan starts to fade throughout the week I use the Jergen's Natural Glow Face on my face as needed.

And then I go back and forth between Jergen's Natural Glow for body and the wet skin moisturizer.
My Starbucks with a view from Boston last week :)
Last but not least was the incredible conference I got to go to in Boston last week for elementary engineering teachers. If you are new around here I am the STEM teacher at an elementary school and had been looking for a great PD to attend. I was lucky enough to get to go to a training put on by the company who develops our engineering curriculum and it was unbelievable. You know how sometimes you sign up for something like this but it could go either way depending on who the presenters are or what exactly they'll cover? Well this was nothing short of amazing and I had the BEST time. I came back for the last few weeks of school feeling so energized about the engineering activities we still have time for. If anyone is curious which program we use, it is called Engineering is Elementary, and I would be happy to tell you more about it! Feel free to send me an email with any questions you have.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! I am looking forward to celebrating Mother's Day with my favorite people: my family, my own mom, and my mother in law. See you on Monday!
