Friday Favorites-- A Random Assortment

Good morning and TGIF!! I don't know about you but this week wiped me out. I am very much looking forward to relaxing a little this weekend and playing catch up on sleep. This week's Friday Favorites is a random assortment of some of my current favorite things.

1. These Oven Baked Cheese Bites from Trader Joe's are DELICIOUS! They remind me of the Whisps crackers and are the perfect snack! I also sprinkle a few on top of Trader Joe's Tomato and Roasted Red Pepper Soup.
It makes for a perfect lunch!
2. Swim Lessons. Lily Grace has started swim lessons at our nearby swim school, Aqua Tots. She is LOVING it! She gets so excited to go and I love it because we have several friends that go there and I get to have some mommy social time while the kids swim. There are usually 2-3 kids to 1 teacher in her swim group.
3. Early gym time. I know this sounds crazy, like SUPER crazy, but I have gotten back into the routine of going to the gym when it opens at 5 a.m. and I am LOVING it. It definitely is a struggle when my alarm goes off at 4:30, but I have noticed a significant difference in my energy levels throughout the day. I am drinking less caffeine because I'm still on an energy high from the morning workout. But my favorite part is that I don't have it hanging over me for the rest of the day. It's nice to have something major checked off the to-do list before I've even eaten breakfast.
4. The Sweat app. I have talked about how much I love the Sweat app (BBG) for awhile, but I just recently got back into after taking some time off. I love how convenient the workouts are and that they truly feel tailored to what my body needs. Its like having a personal trainer there at the gym with you, except she's on your phone. If you would like to try the Sweat app for free for a week please leave me a comment and I can send you an email for the free 7 day trial!

Just in case you missed any of my previous posts from the week:

I am joining up with some other bloggers for a new Link Up on the 2nd Monday of each month called Not Just a Mom

On Wednesday I posted my monthly goals for January (quite a bit late, but whatever!)

And on Thursday I posted a recipe for my favorite easy roasted cauliflower. If you are trying to eat healthier in 2020 you will want to follow along as I post one healthy recipe per week!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!! Thanks for reading along 😊

  2. Can't wait to try that cauliflower. Yum, I love cauliflower and have a head sitting in my crisper ready to be eaten. I literally can't imagine waking up that early to work out but I feel like I need to start doing the same. Have a great weekend with your sweet family! :) xo

    1. It's the only time I'll go on days that I work! If I can't get it in before work, there's no way it's happening.

  4. I know how you feel about those early morning workouts, but so worth it! I have been into roasting cauliflower lately too, I don't have that spice blend but turmeric and garlic works too.
