Garlic and Shallot Green Beans

Good morning! Today's recipe is coming to you from a quarantined kitchen... it was one of those "what do we have left to eat? Okay, let's make that!" recipes. This one is simple, quick, and you are almost guaranteed to have everything (assuming you have green beans 😀)

Here's What You'll Need:
1 pound of green beans
1 shallot, chopped
4 cloves of garlic, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil, divided 
1/2 tablespoon Italian seasoning
Salt and Pepper to taste

1. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in saucepan over medium high heat. Sauté garlic and shallot for 2-3 minutes.

2. Meanwhile combine Italian seasoning and remainder of olive oil. Stir thoroughly. Add green beans, stirring to thoroughly coat green beans with herbs. Add salt and pepper. Stir again. 

3. Add green bean mixture to pan and cook for 12-15 minutes, adding more olive oil if needed.

4. Enjoy!
